Former NWA Heritage Champion forced out of EWF

Friday Night at EWF's Zero Tollerance saw the long-time standout of the Empire Wrestling Federation, TJ Perkins forced to leave his stomping grounds when Perkins was defeated by former partner Liger Rivera. Rivera and Perkins had teamed in EWF as Famous for Fearless winning the tag team championship last year. Perkins turned on Rivera after the duo lost the tag team titles to the Young Bucks.
Perkins' career in EWF started in 2005, but Perkins has been wrestling all over Southern California since 2000. Perkins has had a dual identity as PUMA and has competed for New Japan Pro Wrestling, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, Total Non-Stop Action, Wrestling Society X, Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and countless NWA promotions.
Rivera has been a fixture in EWF. Rivera is a former Cruiserweight Champion and a former tag champion.
