It was last seen May 13, 1983 on Velvet McIntyre and Princess Victoria. Now it is time to be reborn. The NWA is proud to announce the return of the NWA Womens World Tag Team Championship. As details are just starting to be worked out, we plan to have many women from across the globe participate in this endeavor. More details will be announced soon about a tournament to crown the new NWA World Tag Team Champions.

That's great to hear, but what about the Women's Championship? I never hear about it being defended or even spoke about. There's a ton of great Joshi and women's wrestlers around that'd make that title very respected.
As far as I know Tasha Simone is still the reigning champion and I believe she defends regularly in NWA Top Rope, although I haven't read any updates recently.
