The War Begins Again: Colt Cabana/Adam Pearce

NWA Worlds Champion Adam Pearce, you son of a bitch!
Fitting, “One Last Ride” has been about Adam Pearce giving back to the community that had given him so much in his long storied career. And just as Pearce had adopted the Lariat into his repertoire, some fans have labeled that game-changing lariat as "The One Last Ride." The game-changing lariat, invalidated what everyone in that building had come to think about Pearce. Indeed a leopard never changes his spots, a lesson Colt learned the hard way. The Piledriver that "Scrap Iron" made famous drove the skull of Colt into the canvas not once, but twice, raising as many questions as all hoped would have been answered. When the bell finally tolled, it was supposed to signify the end of the Family Stone, but the thirty seconds after “the cheap shot heard 'round the world" would signify a new beginning. A new start for the Family Stone, for the NWA World’s Championship, and a very old and deep, now once more-- a new purpose for Adam Pearce. The demise of the man who defeated him for the championship nearly one year to the date. The lion will always hunt the gazelle, the Red Soxs will always hate the Yankees, and Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana will hate each other forever!
