In light of these events, it is the belief of my Administration that the concept of “weight divisions,” championed by the National Wrestling Alliance as a necessary evil, is archaic and obsolete. The size of the competitor does not matter – what matters is the God-given talent on display. As a result, I have issued the following rulings, effective immediately:
The NWA/ECCW Canadian Heavyweight Championship, unified earlier this year and currently held by Artemis Spencer, is officially de-unified. Spencer will remain the NWA Canadian Heavyweight Champion, with all the rights and privileges therein.
