Victory for Wayne against former NWA World Champion Pearce burns up the "Mr. Mid-Atlantic".
"Adam Pearce and I have unfinished business," were the words that echoed from the video message Damien Wayne released on youtube. What would you expect from "Mr. Mid-Atlantic" Damien Wayne and "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce? Two men, well respected through out the National Wrestling Alliance step into the ring to settle a score. Wayne vs. Pearce 3 wasn't for a Championship, but it was for pride. It all went down for Pro Wrestling Mid-Atlantic. The first time these two faced off, the then NWA Worlds Championship was disqualified and the second match lasted sixty minutes to a draw.
As always Adam Pearce didn't enter Virgina alone and brought along an ally in the likes of James J. Dillon. The legendary manager of the Horsemen, lead Adam to the ring in hopes of securing a much needed win for his associate Adam Pearce. It almost started to appear as though history would repeat itself in the Virgina. The hard hitting match between two of the NWA's finest was tearing down the house, Pearce broke rank. And decided he was going to get himself out of this match when he knocked out the referee. It would seem that Wayne wouldn't get his satisfaction on this night. That is until former NWA Worlds Champion, "the Rugged" Ronnie Garvin hit Pearce with one of his vintage shots to Pearce, that left the former champion out for the count. Wayne went for the icing on the cake, when he connected with his devastating elbow drop off the top rope. The NWA Continental Champion would get the pin fall and receive his long awaited vindication. That is until NWA National Champion Chance Prophet made his way to ringside.
Ever since Chance Prophet defeated TNA's Gunner for the NWA National Championship a bulls eye has been placed on the back of Prophet. And this was apparent immediately following his victory in New Jersey as Damien Wayne viciously attacked him, after what appeared to be a celebratory hug. A piledriver left Prophet in a heap of mangle flesh after what would have been one of his biggest victories to date. Flash forward to what would have been Damien Wayne's biggest celebration to date only for Prophet to fight fire with fire, literally. It would appear that Pearce along with Prophet were in cahoots with the dual fireball. When asked about his alliance with the National Champion Chance Prophet and speculation about his wrestling future, Pearce refused comment.

Watch as the National Championship is on the line when former Champion Chance Prophet takes on reigning Champion Phil Shatter. With more than respect on the line will Chance finally reclaim some of his lost glory or will "The Universal Soldier" claim another victory on a path that is littered with victims across the United States. Shatter won the title nearly two years to the date of this upcoming defense by defeating Champion Crusher Hansen and Chris LeRusso in McKeepsport Pennsylvania. Since then 23 Matches across six states, Shatter has taken no prisoners. Although not as many stagger defenses or for as long as a time, but Chance Prophet too has taken his NWA DAWG Championship from port to port in his claim for a piece of the lime light including four states with more defenses planned in 2011 in Kentucky and Tennessee. Will these be Prophets time to shine or will Shatter continue his winning ways. Find out January 15th. West Deptford, New Jersey

For the very first time, The Mempho Mofo faces Mr. Mid-Atlantic Damien Wayne in the finals of the King of the Mid-Atlantic Tournament. If the Mofo is victorious he will not only be crowned the King of the Mid-Atlantic, but the NWA Continental Champion as well. If Damien Wayne wins then he will become the King of the Mid-Atlantic, but he and the Mofo will have to meet again to decide the Continental Championship.
In a Four Team Elimination Match, The champions, "The Pain Train" Preston Quinn and "The War Horse" Larry Horsley will face The Geordie Bulldogs, Sean Denny and Marky D, A1, "The A-Lister" Zach Hilton and "Number One" Jefferson Early, and the former champions, Da New Bloodz, Da Gift and Da Curse. Who will leave Meltdown the NWA Fusion Tag Team Champions.
Brandon Day will get a chance for revenge when he faces off with The American Ranger. The last time these two men met The American Ranger put Brandon out of action for 2 months by Uncle Slamming him on ramp. Will Brandon Day get the Vengence he is looking for or will The Ranger leave him laying again?
Speaking of being out of action, "The Wiseguy" Jimmy Cicero was the NWA Continental Champion and was involved in a tremendous feud with the American Ranger and Sheik Ali Akbar's Army of Destruction when a car accident ended his career. He was forced to give up his Continental Title and has been unable to get the revenge he sought against the Sheik, the Ranger and his Army. "The Wiseguy" returns to NWA Fusion to tell all the fans where his career stands and what's next for Jimmy Cicero.
Two Titans of the Mid-Atlantic Clash! "The Heat-Miser" Scotty Blaze and "Big Time" Mike Booth have been two of the greatest wrestlers in the Mid-Atlantic over the last decade. These two men will meet in a gigantic battle on October 16th.
All this and much much more when NWA Fusion returns to King and Queen Elementary for what could be the biggest Meltdown in the history of NWA Fusion.

NWA Fusion Meltdown Episode 16
NWA CONTINENTAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ON THE LINE!!!
For nearly two years, the NWA Continental Heavyweight Champion, "Big Time" Mike Booth, went undefeated. NO ONE could beat him. NO ONE could pin his shoulders to the mat. NO ONE could make him submit. For almost 24 months, everyone who opposed him went down to defeat. Damien Wayne. Preston Quinn. Sean Denny. Horrorshow. The American Ranger. No one could beat Mike Booth... until he met "The Wiseguy" Jimmy Cicero.
Last month on Meltdown, "The Wiseguy" ended "Big Time"'s undefeated streak and pinned his shoulders to the mat, but the title wasn't on the line. Now the championship committee has granted Cicero his shot at the title. After 17 years, "The Wiseguy" has his chance to be the man. To be the champion. To finally wear the gold of a heavyweight championship. Will "The Wiseguy" continue his hot streak? Or will Mike Booth prove his loss was just a fluke and return to his undefeated ways?
Also last week, Sean Denny went on a rampage. After seeing what "The Mempho Mofo" Mark Bravura did his brother Marky D, Sean DEMANDED that he be given the chance to destroy someone, anyone and Sheik Ali Akbar's Evil Wind from the East, Krotch, stepped up to take the challenge. Considering the Army's role in an earlier attack on the Geordie Bulldog's did Krotch make a wise choice? Can he survive the rage of Geordie Bulldog? Or will Sean's be too focused on revenge to gain the victory?
All that and more tonight on NWA Fusion Meltdown!!!

New Champions crowned in NWA: Southern Pro Wrestling
NWA East's The Wrong Crowd finally made good on their promise of bringing
home the North American Tag Team Titles. The Titles were previously held by the Old School Empire. The two teams first met last year at a NWA East show. The two teams went to a time limit draw. After much "talk" the two teams agreed to re-match in North Carolina at a NWA: SPW's event. No sign if there will be a rematch any time soon. Chance Prophet had indicated that he would in deed be looking to battle the Wrong Crowd for those titles when he returns to the ring.
The other title was the creation of the Continental Championship. The title is the merged legacies of the NWA Virgina Heavyweight Championship and the Southern Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Championship. The new champion is "Mr. Mid-Atlantic" Damien Wayne. Wayne defeated Sean Denny who was the last man to old the SPW strap. This goes on the long list of accomplishments of Damien Wayne who recently lost the NWA North American Title to "Iron" Mike DiBiase.
Next week on the NWA Wrestling Showcase, will feature Sean Denny versus the "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson. And the new champion will be facing the winner of "Sterling" James Kennan and Worlds Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce.
