VIVA LA LUCHA RETURNS TO PAY PER VIEW ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 27, 2010 WITH "EXTREME REBELLION"

Star-studded lineup features Blue Demon Jr., Super Crazy, Hijo De Rey Misterio, Oliver John, The Young Bucks and more!

San Diego, CA - August 18, 2010 Viva La Lucha's debut PPV, Revolution, brought viewers in the US and Canada a look at some of the best lucha libre action direct from Mexico City. Now, the revolution has caused a rebellion North of the border and Viva La Lucha returns to PPV with a PPV packed with great lucha matches from the United States.

Extreme Rebellion features a double main event from two nights of action in Pro Wrestling Revolution, the #1 lucha libre promotion in the country. In the first, Blue Demon Jr. seeks revenge against Vaquero Fantasma for his interference in Demon's steel cage match with PWR champion Oliver John at Revolution. Will "La Leyenda Azul" move one step closer to finally getting John back in the ring, or will it be time for a new legend to rise?

In Main Event #2, it's a steel cage match as Hijo De Rey Misterio teams with the extreme luchador, former WWE and ECW star Super Crazy, to battle The Border Patrol's Derek Sanders and Zach Reeb. But there is more than just national pride on the line as the winners of this match will leave the cage the new Pro Wrestling Revolution Tag Team Champions.

The undercard is packed with action as well including the first minis match on a Viva La Lucha broadcast as the 4' 3" Mini Dragon battles the "massive" 5' tall Pequeño Pierroth. Plus in a special challenge match TJ Perkins goes to war with Scorpio Sky. Viewers will also get a sneak preview of the upcoming television series NWA Championship Wrestling From Hollywood as The Young Bucks battle former NWA World Tag Team Champions Phoenix Star and Zokre. And, for the first time ever, a Viva L.A. Lucha match as six luchadors from the City of Angels attempt to earn a spot on a future lucha card in Mexico.

Viva La Lucha: Extreme Rebellion debuts on Friday, August 27, and will be available throughout the United States on cable via iN Demand and TVN and on satellite for Dish Network subscribers. Canadian fans can catch the action on Viewers Choice or Bell systems.

Milpitas, CA had been waiting for Lucha Libre to come back to town for a while, but little did they know how Pro Wrestling Revolution would bring it back! The Revolution gets EXTREME when Super Crazy teamed up with the ever popular Hijo de Rey Misterio!

Also on todays episode we finally see a few of the members of El Patron Oliver John's Border Patrol members in tag team action of their own. Who knows how many members of the Border Patrol there are and when and where they will show up.

And don't miss the end, as Blue Demon Jr,. responds to Oliver John's video from the last episode of UPRISING, and this will have fatal consequences for John at Lucha Libre Experienca in Mexico!

JACK EVANS MAKES SURPRISE APPEARANCE

Jack Evans made a surprise appearance at Damage Control 5, making the save on behalf of ring announcer Lalo Gonzalez from the former EWF Tag Team Champions, The A-List. Jack will be challenging Ryan Taylor in what he said will be one of the toughest challenges he ever faced. The match takes place on February 21st at the AWS Arena for an event held by El Pappy Pineda Promotions.

The last event El Pappy Pineda Promotions ran was in conjunction with NWA Pro AWS.  

More Updates on Blue Demon Jr.

The Worlds Heavyweight Champion continues to use his name for Social Outreach in his native country of Mexico. Demon has partnered with Gerald Alfaro Association to educate the population on the symptoms of Lymphatic Cancer. September 15th will be National Linfoma Day.

And as reported earlier by SuperLuchas, Blue Demon Jr. appeared in the role of a Special Referee for Xtreme Latin America Wrestling. In a Mexico vs. Panama, Damien 666 vs. Panama Jack Daniels for PJD's RXW Championship. Panama Jack successfully defended his championship, however through the course of the night, Panama Jack and Blue Demon shared some friction and it could lead to an altercation in the future. As I previously stated XLAW previously had a relationship with the NWA and there might be small overtures to reengage that relationship.

Lastly Demon defended his World Championship against 2 other champions in their own rights in Phoenix AZ last night. The collaborative show that was produced by Impact Zone Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Revolution, and NWA Pro Wrestling featured a North American Heavyweight Title Defense and a World Title Defense. The Showcase featured wrestlers from across the globe, with fighters from Australia, Mexico, and the good ole USA. Blue Demon who had been battling the NWA Heritage and Pro Wrestling Revolution Champion in Oliver John and All Japan Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Champion Super Crazy over the past few months fought off their advances. Blue Demon Jr. successfully retained his crown. With victories over both Crazy and John separately and in Three Way Dance, Demon will be awaiting his next challenge.

NWA Pro Wrestling Revolution 2nd Match added to Celebrity Theater

The card for the NWA Showcase, Pro Wrestling Revolution event being taped in Phoenix AZ, at the Celebrity Theater is shaping up. Already announced is Blue Demon Jr. defending his Worlds Title in a Three-Way Dance against Super Crazy and "Border Patrol" Oliver John. Announced yesterday is a match up between the man responsible for bringing sleazy back to the NWA, "Magnum" Joey Ryan and Super Porky.

Also scheduled to appear or North American Champion El Gran Apollo, El Hijo De Rey Misterio, and more still to be announced.

I'm not sure if this is a NWA Showcase Event or a Pro Wrestling Revolution. Either way, it should be a great event. And with the Showcase Cameras at the event means for those of us who do not live in Arizona might still see the event through the Showcase, On-Line or through a DVD distribution.

NWA Pro Wrestling Revolution in Bakersfiled

Pro Wrestling Revolution makes its debut in Bakersfield at the Bakersfield Dome. This maybe our debut in the area but we are very familiar as we have had a presence in the area before. This time around we come to you with a flurry of media taking part, from television, radio and print and we hope we can make a difference.

The Dome has had wrestling and lucha libre in the past, but we feel we are bringing you something that brings a quality product, from behind the curtain to the ticket takers, don’t let past the rocky past fool you.

The line up we have set is strong but with out knowing what is taking place the day before in Santa Maria, we can only assume tempers will be at a high level before the doors even open at the Dome in Bakersfield. One thing is for sure, the feuds continue, the action will be top quality and the winners in all of this are the fans. We hope to see old fans and make new ones as we attempt to make Bakersfield and the Dome a new home for Pro Wrestling Revolution.

Santa Maria has had its share of big shows from Pro Wrestling Revolution, but this show has it the maximum it can take. We started at Santa Maria High School, headed over to Orchid and now we are taking it to the Santa Maria Fair Park, where all the major events take place. The fans have come to know exactly who we are and what we have to offer. We bring you to Santa Maria… Lucha Mania!

The feud with the Border Patrol team of Zach Reeb & Derek Sanders and El Hijo de Rey Misterio has come to a head and this show will decide and fill the vacancy of the Pro Wrestling Revolution tag titles.

This brings us to the match up of two people, athletes, wrestlers, who flat out do not like each other and nothing seems to be able to get them to move past their differences. Pro Wrestling Revolution Heavyweight Champion and NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. will face off, again… and this time in a cage match. Nobody knows what can happen and what will take place, and we can only hope that this will solve their issues.

The NWA presents Striking Gold!

A night that has been brewing for several months will come to a head May 1st. 3 huge title matches are scheduled.

Spoiler 2000 defeated Seth Korbin at the 11th Anniversary of NWA Southwest to win the Texas Heavyweight Championship for the vacant championship. Spoiler 2000 is the first ever dual-champion holding both the Texas Heavyweight Championship and the Oklahoma Heavyweight Championship. His opponent is no stranger to the Texas Heavyweight Title. Kevin Northcutt has held the Texas Crown a record 8 times, which hasn't been done in the NWA Southwest, and is a former National Heavyweight Champion and NWA World Tag Team Champion. Spoiler will be attempting to cement his fame by beating one of the Southwest most decorated wrestlers and Northcutt will be attempting to garner the attention of the brass of the NWA in hopes of claiming more NWA glory.

"I've defeated everyone you've put in front of me..." were the words that echoed through out the Colombia Square Studios before El Gran Apolo met face to face with the son of the legendary Million Dollar Man. Apolo, no stranger to gold being a former NWA Worlds Tag Team Champion and currently the Heavyweight Champoion of NWA On Fire stared the North America Champion in his eyes and accepted the challenge. "Iron" Mike DiBiase picking and choosing his battles decided that he would lock horns with Apolo, just not that night. But on May 1st, these two will lock horns. DiBiase believes his path to Worlds Championship goes through Apolo. Apolo wishes to fulfill his legacy to become the North American Champion.

After signing a deal with NWA Pro Wrestling Revolution, former WWE and ECW star Super Crazy has been given the opportunity to face fellow countryman Blue Demon Jr. While in Mexico many of luchador have tried to gain International prominance by defeating the man who hold the Legendary 10lbs. of Gold. Crazy is no stranger to International Fame having wrestled in the WWE, in Japan and Mexico. Demon too has traveled the world as champion even as recently wrestled for Ring of Honor. Obviously this Lucha Libre dream match will be anything but a styles clash, and the folks of Tyler Texas are in for a treat. Demon is also schedule to be in Los Angeles, California representing the NWA for Lucha Va Voom on Cinco De Mayo. And Super Crazy is schedule to be in Northern California at the end of the month for Pro Wrestling Revolution. Only time will tell whom the champion will be.

Saturday's event takes place inside the Oil Palace in Tyler, Tex. at 8:00 p.m. NWA Showcase TV currently airs in the local Tyler market on the CBS affiliate at 11:30 p.m. on Thursday nights, Nationally on Dish TV Channel 9407 Colours TV, or in deman on NWAWrestling.com.

After coming off a well received show in Las Vegas in front of Legends like; Harley Race, Nick Bockwinkle, Ted DiBiase, and James J. May 2nd marks the date of the big NWA Wrestling Showcase Live Event. Worlds Champion, Blue Demon Jr. will take on former ECW/WWE superstar Super Crazy. Also from Tyler Texas, will be North American Champion, Mike DiBiase, NWA Tag Champions the Skull Krushers, and the infamous tag team, Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch. All this takes place live from the Oil Palace.

NWA Week in Review for March 7th, 2009

The Showcase returns to Hollywood CA at the Columbia Square Studios. The NWA plans on two big television tapings on March 7th and 8th. Scheduled to appear are; NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon, Jr., NWA Worlds Tag Team Champions “The Skullkrushers”, NWA North American Champions Mike DiBiase, NWA National Heavyweight Champion “Universal Soldier” Phil Shatter, “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce, Oliver John and the Boarder Patrol, Puerto Rico’s Apollo, “Shooter” Brent Albright, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch, Muscle Gang, Joey Ryan, Canada’s Nelson Creed, The Young Bucks, and “American Dragon” Bryan Danielson. NWA Pro officials also confirmed none other than Tristan Gallo the self-professed "Half-Breed Heart Throb." This is great news for the ladies! I will be in attendance and I will try to bring you some of the action here.
In recent weeks we've talked about some of the biggest names in wrestling history. Ric Flair making an appearance for NWA Mid-Atlantic. Shawn Michaels attending the EWF's school of Hard Knocks. Even the man who disrespected the legendary 10lbs of gold has been re-connected to the NWA. Add Bill Dundee and the "King" Jerry Lalwer as they bring their feud of nearly 3 decades to NWA Main Event. Lawler has appeared a few times in association with NWA Main Event several times this year and last. When Lawler isn't making appearance for the NWA he still does commentary for the WWE.
Speaking of WWE, recently released Super Crazy has come to a multiple date agreement with the Management of Pro Wrestling Revolution. Pro Wrestling Revolution brings some of the hottest luchadores to Northen California. Including appearances from Los Misterios (El Hijo De Rey Misterio and Rey Misterio Sr.), Sicodelico Jr., El Hijo de Sicodelico, Rayman, and even Worlds Heayvweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. The Demon defended his title in Pro Wrestling Revolution against Oliver John.
And now Blue Demon Jr. proudly defends his NWA Championship against fellow NWA Champion, Ryan Taylor. A dual title holder, holding his home promotions American Championship and the NWA Heritage Title, Taylor has made a career of being an underdog. Even holding victories over the King of Underdog, TJ Perkins. Blue Demon Jr. will have to keep his guard up. This match is scheduled for this Sunday regardless of his matches for the showcase tapings. This could be a fatal judgment error for the champ.
If Blue Demon can leave this weekend title intact, he will have a future defense in Charlotte, North Carolina. As Bob Trobich and JD Costello announced that a Worlds Title match will be taking place in May or June. The schedule is being worked out and contracts are being finalized. On the live event the show announced that they would be running weekly 30 minute long shows. The first one being made available at http://digitaltuxedo.com/.
Lastly NWA Southwest's NWA Oklahoma has announced its plans to run on Tribal Lands and Indian Owned Casinos. The staff at OK had mentioned that they have been getting requests from lots of Tribes to promote shows in these venues. The relationship with these venues will likely give NWA OK more dates and already allowed them to help book the NWA Southwest's 11th Anniversary show. NWA OK has also expressed interest in competing in joint shows with NWA Arizona's Impact Zone Wrestling to promote joint shows in Oklahoma.

NWA Pro Wrestling Revolution gets CRAZY!

It gives us great pleasure and with much excitement to announce that Pro Wrestling Revolution and former WWE Superstar and Lucha Libre phoneme, have come to an agreement for a three show deal.

This wrestler is no other than SUPER CRAZY! This athlete has put on memorable matches wherever he has wrestled and we only can expect the same as he makes his debut for us.
