NWA Florida Presents: November Coming Fire

NWA Florida and Pro Wrestling Fusion presents November Coming Fire at the Fort Pierce PAL Center, 1401 2nd. St., Fort Pierce Florida on Saturday November 6th 2010.  Seven exciting matches highlighted by the defense of the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Championship.  "Lightning" Mike Quackenbush has beaten some of the most amazing professional wrestlers on the planet.  And as a the NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion, Quackenbush has defended the Jr. Championship against wrestlers from New Japan Pro Wrestling, the NWA, All Japan, Chikara, AAA, IWRG, IWA Puerto Rico, even defending the title in Pescantina Italy.  Truly a World Warrior.  Perhaps maybe less known in his own home country, Craig Classic has been honing his craft in the outrageous world of Big Japan Pro Wrestling.  Under the tutelage of Daisuke Sekimoto, Classic has trained in the BJPW dojo since 2004.  While not wrestling in Japan, Classic has to earned quite the reputation as a Jr. Heavyweight Champion, defeating the likes of TJ Perkins, former NWA Jr. World Champion "Mr. 630" Jerrelle Clark.  Classic won his Jr. Heavyweight Crown this past January when he defeated former 2 time champion Chris Jones.  Although neither champion has had a title defense in the past 4 months, these two performers have continued to wrestle and should have no ring rust.  This match up alone will be worth the price of admission.

Also joining the Main Event will be will be Shawn Spears taking his first ever shot at the NWA Florida Championship when he challenges Tommy Taylor.  Taylor is the man who defeated the Middle Eastern Madman, the Sheik.  This will be Taylor's first defense.  Another first time match up will be the NWA Florida Tag Team Champions, the Dark City Fight Club taking on the Guidos.  The DCFC have been a very dominant force in Pro Wrestling Fusion, laying waste to anyone courageous (or stupid enough) to step into the ring with them.  They have had one successful defense against Prince Iaukea & Nick Primo.

All this goes down Nov. 6th at the PAL Center in Fort Peirce.

Triple Crown Champion no more, Tommy Taylor NEW NWA Florida Champion

Pro Wrestling Fusion has been the home promotion for the Sheik, a madman with blood lust, who has created a new breed of pain for his opponents not just in Florida, but all over the US.  The Sheik parlayed his desire to be World Champion into a conquest for gold.  The Sheik one the NWA Florida Championship and would go on to win the NWA Midwest Championship from Silas Young and the North American Championship from El Gran Apolo.  The Sheik has been leveraging himself into the World Title picture with each successful defense of his Triple Crown Title.

Things would take a change for the worse on Saturday Night in Ft. Pierce, Florida.  It wasn't too long ago when a fireball encompassed the face of British born wrestler, Tommy Taylor.  The burns and scars would heal, by the psychological damages wouldn't mend until vindication would come for Tommy Taylor.  When I spoke to Tommy Taylor on Alliance Radio (listen here), Tommy made it clear he would not rest until he caused some pain and suffering to the Champion.  It took 3 Stages of Hell, but Tommy Taylor found a chink in the armor of the Middle Eastern Madman, and took one of his covenanted prizes... the NWA Florida Championship.

Congratulations to Tommy Taylor on his Florida Championship Victory.

New Japan wrestler to face NWA North American Champion

Okada had been making an impact in Fusion Pro Wrestling, since his learning excursion to the United States from New Japan Pro Wrestling.  The only NWA Triple Crown Holder will have his hands full with the young Okada.  But after the Sheik defends his North American Championship, waiting in the wings is Tommy Taylor.  Taylor, who spoke to Alliance-Wrestling Radio, referred to the Sheik as a Wanker!  And although Taylor faces Steve Madison, Taylor is looking for any opportunity to give the Sheik some retribution, at any cost.  Wrestling for a Cause could become very dangerous for the Sheik.

Episode 9 of Alliance-Wrestling Radio featuring Tommy Taylor

Alliance-Wrestling Radio goes live March 20th 1:30PM Eastern 10:30AM Pacific

Born and trained from across the Atlantic, Tommy Taylor’s start in wrestling was at the age of 15 where his training was derived from the best of catch as catch can and British style wrestling. 5 years of experience and time with the WWE, Taylor would go on to partner with Christopher Gray as the British Lions for Ring of Honor, the NWA, and all points of the South East. This Saturday, Tommy Taylor will be our special guest on Alliance-Wrestling Radio. Tommy will talk about his time wrestling in the UK, his developmental career with the WWE, his feud with the Sheik and his future. We’ll also be talking about NWA Florida’s Fusion Pro Wrestling and their up-coming events.

The Truth Behind The Sheik's reign of Terror

The Truth Behind The Sheik’s reign of Terror…by Tim Sult

He considers himself to be the most sadistic man in Professional Wrestling, and we would be hard pressed not to agree. He is the current NWA FLORIDA and NWA MIDWEST Heavyweight Champion, a champion who terrorizes wrestling with rule breaking ferocity. He is personally responsible for putting Tommy Taylor out of wrestling by severely burning his face and damaging his eye sight. He recently broke Chris Jones’ neck and put him out of wrestling forever. He has left a bloody trail of broken and beat down bodies all over the world. He is feared, he is hated, he is the most notorious madman in wrestling today. He is THE SHEIK.

(The following interview with The Sheik was completed with the help of a translator. This is the very FIRST interview The Sheik has ever done. Here is the exclusive interview in it’s entirety.)

Q: Thank you for taking the time to do this interview Sheik.

A: …………

Q: Are you always so enthusiastic about interviews?

A: I am very enthusiastic about destroying my opponents while making them suffer and taking their championship gold. I show my enthusiasm inside the wrestling ring.
