NWA: World Class Championship Wrestling featuring NWA Worlds Champion Adam Pearce
Newly crowned and four-time NWA World's Heavyweight Champion, “Scrap Iron “Adam Pearce, will be competing in Brownsville, Texas at the City of Brownsville Parks and Rec Center located on 8th & Tyler (1338 E 8th St) on Saturday, August 20th, 2011. Pearce will be bringing his newly won '10 pounds of Gold' with him, along with its rich wrestling history. The lineage of the championship dates back over sixty years, which such luminous champions as Ric Flair, Terry Funk and Harley Race.
This will be the inaugural “NWA: WORLD CLASS CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING” event and is sure to be a memorable one. The south Texas chapter of NWA has not only changed its name, but promises to be the elite in pro wrestling from here on end and is doing just that by raising the bar with it’s inaugural event!The action takes place THIS SATURDAY!Pearce has earned himself a lot of respect and accolades throughout his 15 year long career, earning victories over some of the biggest stars in the wrestling world today. Pearce himself declared that this will be his “One Last Ride” and could be retiring from professional wrestling after these last few dates he has booked.

NWA Wrestling added to Livestock Show event
The world’s largest and oldest professional wrestling organization - National Wrestling Alliance Southwest - has been added to the front end of a week-long slate of events taking place at the 76th Annual Nueces County Livestock Show at RMB Regional Fairgrounds’ Central Pavilion in Robstown, Texas, on Friday, January 7.
Among the headliners appearing will be The Amazing Midgets Blixx and Justice, former TNA and WWE star Lance Hoyt, lucha libre star Sicodelico, Jr., former WWE wrestling legend Tanaka, the exotic Ann Dromeda, Jaykus “Biohazard” Plisken, Ben Galvan, Rudy Russo, Dick Dallas, Cody Jones, Jasper Davis, Ken Houston, Barbi, and many others!
The NWA Southwest road show is part of a major annual event in the Coastal Bend region of Texas next year. In addition to wrestling, the Livestock Show includes midway rides, carnival booths, 4H animal exhibits and judging events, cook-offs, parades, trade booths, and musical acts.
Recording artist Hilda Lamas will sing the national anthem at the show after the presentation of flags by the ROTC Color Guard.
Bell-time is 8 p.m. and doors will open at 7 p.m. Tickets only $12 in advance and now on sale at the Fairgrounds box office. Tickets can be ordered calling 361-387-9002. Tickets at the door will be $14.

Two for the Price of One on Alliance-Wrestling Radio.
They say every thing is bigger in Texas, but bigger isn't always better. Just ask NWA Texas Jr. Heavyweight Champion, courtesy of NWA Southwest, Rudy Russo as he heads into Whitesboro Texas. At the "Red River Stampede," the NWA Southwest Road Show the Champ will take on former champion Gabe "The Babe" Himeros. But before Russo heads to Whitesboro, he'll head to the Alliance-Wrestling Radio to talk about his start in pro-wrestling, NWA Southwest, his opponent, and his future.
Joining the second half of the show will be the Cuban Crippler, Ricky Reyes. Reyes has been described as an International Wrestling Machine with stops all over the world and most recently in Puerto Rico for WWC. Reyes has recently accepted the spot of the injured Tommy Force for NWA DAWG Pound's big event April 24th in Ocean Township, NJ. Reyes is no stranger to Jr. Heavyweight Championships either, will talk about his reign in Puerto Rico, his appearances for New Japan Pro Wrestling and Zero One, and his opponent Chance Prophet.
