Saturday, April 14, 2012, I made the one hour trip out to the Balch Springs Recreation Center in Balch Springs, TX to witness NWA Lone Star/TX Stampede Wrestling’s “Knuckle Up” show. Attendance was down but I blame that on the threat of possible severe storm that night. In fact Jason and I waited to the last minute before we decided to believe my weather app that storms wouldn’t arrive till the early morning hours. In a good Texas tradition, the ring announcer, Travis Baxter, welcomed us to the show and announced the playing of the national anthem.

Talk NWA: 'Tokyo Monster' Kahagas March 24th 1:30PM Eastern
Not all Monsters from Japan are 60ft tall, green, covered in scales and breath fire. However unlike Godzilla, Kahagas is real. When the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Championship was forfeited last summer, Kahagas openly engaged the NWA Board of Directors lobbying for an opportunity to be apart of the one-night tournament. Kahagas was not granted the opportunity. Months would pass and Kahagas was afforded the opportunity to face off against NWA National Champion, Chance Prophet. The Tokyo Monster and the Dark Child would battle for the belt two times with no clear cut winner at the end of the battles. March 29th, as part of the Wrestlemania Weekend, NWA Ring Warriors will provide the 3rd encounter against Chance Prophet. But Kahagas also has a unique opportunity to perhaps become the first NWA Triple Crown Champion because if he is successful in defeating Prophet for the National Title, he faces Pearce for the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title on April 6th for Dynamo Pro in Illinois and the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Kevin Douglas on April 14th for NWA Lone Star. We'll be talking to Kahagas to learn more about the Monster, the opportunities ahead of him, and more.
Plus we'll play our interview with "Lovin" Nick Love. Hailing from Solana Beach and making his name in Southern California, Nick Lovin is a former SoCal Pro Tag Team Champion

Report of NWA Lone Star & TX Stampede Wrestling's "One More Time"
Show Report Courtesy of DKM of TalkNWA.com
On May 21, 2011 I went to an NWA Southwest card in Grand Prairie, Texas. Little
did I know at that time it would be the last NWA Southwest card ever and last NWA card in the Fort Worth/Dallas area until last night.
We saw the NWA return in the form of NWA Lone Star as they and TX Stampede Wrestling held “One More Time". I don’t do crowd estimates, but I will say it was a full house with almost every seat taken.
The night started with the playing of the National Anthem (this is Texas) though most people were looking for a flag at first, it was great way to start the night.

NWA Worlds Champion: Continues the "One Last Ride" Tour
The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion has defended the "Legendary 10lbs of Gold" has been on the line, nine times since July 31st. And the man who has walked away with the belt after each match is the four time Worlds Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce. With a combination of working in West Virgina for NWA Mountain State last weekend, working the Wrestling Revolution Project this week, and two more victories on the road in Texas this past weekend it is clear, Pearce has left no stone unturned on the "One Last Ride" Tour. After piledriving Jaykus Plisken Friday Night for NWA Houston and their "See No Evil, Speak No Evil" event, Pearce was welcomed into Brownsville place in what would seem like a no win situation.

NWA Worlds Championship takes the "One Last Ride" to NWA Houston
The word coming out of Houston is that Friday Night, "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce gave Jakus Plisken One hell of a Last Ride with a lariat that nearly decapitated the NWA Lonestar Champion. NWA Houston presented ""Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil" on Friday Night and featured two NWA World Championship Matches. While defending the National Wrestling Alliance's top prize, Pearce connected with not only a lariat but the patented Piledriver to ensure his victory against Plisken.
After walking away victorious, Pearce heads to Brownsville Tonight to defend the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship Match against Ben Galvan in a Lumberjack Match, with special referee Greg "The Hammer" Valentine for NWA Worlds Class Championship Wrestling.
