The RockNES Monsters were the hottest tag team in Southern California. As champions they defended the NWA Heritage Tag Team/Mach-1 Tag Team Titles against the likes of former NWA World Tag Team Champions Los Luchas, Paul London & Brian Kendrick, Rocky Romero & TJ Perkins, Natural Selection (Shaun Ricker & Bryan Cage), and the Cutler Brothers. With defenses in many of the NWA Pro Wrestling Affiliates in Southern California and Arizona. The RockNES Monsters lost the tag titles to Natural Selection at a NWA Hollywood Television Taping. The duo split up when Goodtime left NWA Hollywood in support of Joey Ryan, after he was fired. While Goodtime was gone, Yuma began his singles career with a very impressive victory over Shaun Ricker and near victories against Scorpio Sky for the NWA Television Championship.
Goodtime's return to NWA Hollywood saw him target Johnny Yuma. At the next NWA Hollywood Television taping, Goodtime partners with Joey Ryan to take on TMDK International. Johnny Yuma will have his first opportunity to become NWA Worlds Junior Heavyweight Champion when he challenges the "Modern Day Hero" Kevin Douglas.
Obviously outside of NWA Hollywood, the RockNES Monsters still team in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. There is also a kickstarter project to bring them out to the East Coast.http://www.indiegogo.com/RockNES2Beyond
