NWA DAWG Champion Damien Wayne to debut for NWA Anarchy

In Cornelia Georgia, home to NWA action for nearly two decades, NWA Anarchy returns to the World Famous NWA Anarchy Arena.  On a night where Kimo challenges Azrael for the Anarchy Heavyweight Championship, Steve Walters defends his Television Title, and the return of IMPACT's Murphy aka Mikael Judas in tag team action joining Jacob Ashworth taking on the challenge of "Bro" Newsome and NWA North American Champion Shaun Tempers, there are a lot of whispers of a new comer to Anarchy Arena.  "Mr. Mid-Atlantic" makes his debut for NWA Anarchy and its not a matter that he's debuting, but for why?

The former NWA North American Champion is unpredictable as they come.  Nobody knows for sure for what reason the man who solidified  his reputation as a "bad ass" in NWA Fusion and all the up and down the Eastern Sea Board.  Earlier this year, Damien Wayne became embroiled in a feud with reigning NWA National Champion Chance Prophet.  At the time Prophet was a dual champion, also holding the NWA DAWG Title.

New NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion is Se7en!

It would seem the tides they are changing in NWA Anarchy. Shaun Tempers would go on to win the NWA North American Heavyweight Championship.  Tempers wouldn't be the only one to win gold this weekend.  Se7en has captured the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship by defeating Shadow Jackson on Saturday. Former notable champions to hold the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship have been former NWA National Champion Phil Shatter (now competing in TNA as Gunner), Mikael Judas (now competing in TNA as Murphy), so one could only wonder what the future might hold for the monster known as Se7en.  But one could guess that the Skies the Limit for this behemoth.

Updates on the NWA North American Tournament

Apparently the Bill Behren's Cup aka the NWA North American Championship tournament has been progressing nicely.  Ace Rockwell finally has an opponent to face in Kyle Matthews.  Shaun Tempers bested Caprice Coleman and Corey Hollis upset J-Rod.  It looks like before the end of the month we'll have a finals match scheduled.  Perhaps some of the answered challenges of Lance Hoyt or Ja'coby Boykins will be in line for a shot at the title down the road.

NWA Anarchy for sell?

Filling the void left behind when NWA Wildside closed up shop, NWA Anarchy has produced hundreds of hours of live events out of Cornelia, Georgia since 2005.  NWA Anarchy was responsible for discovering  stars like NWA National Champion Phil Shatter, former TNA wrestler Consequences Creed, and the reigning NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Champion Mikael Judas.  Nearly 5 years ago, NWA Anarchy with help of NWA Board of Director member, Bill Behrens nearly began broadcasting their weekly television program across the U.S., United Kingdom and Italy, as well as weekly on the internet at TheSuperStation.tv.

It was recently announced that NWA Anarchy would in face be up for sell.  Here is the statement From Jerry Palmer:
I would like to thank everyone who has expressed interest in NWA-Anarchy. We have sent out the prospectus and informational package and have received several verbal offers at this point. The prospectus is still available to anyone who has a legitimate interest and asks for it.

From now until 2-1-2011 at 5pm we are accepting written offers to narrow the field of prospective buyers. It is time to take the process to the next level. So... Anyone wishing to make a legitimate offer should email that offer to jp53@windstream.net prior to this deadline. This should be sent even if a verbal offer has been made. Again, I am humbled by the interest in NWA-Anarchy and encouraged that we will find the next owner that can take Anarchy to the next level.

NWA Wrestling comes to the Ohio Fair Grounds.

Columbus Wrestling fans you don't want to miss Live Pro Wrestling presented by the National Wrestling Alliance, Sunday August first at the Ohio Fair Ground, featuring talent from TNA Wrestling, NWA Anarchy, NWA Main Event and a NWA World Championship match. All these matches for the low price of $10 for General Admission and $15 for Ringside.

The Main Event for the card will be none other than "The Universal Solider" Phil Shatter (who is currently the NWA National Champion) will take on NWA Worlds Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce.  Shatter, who appears regularly for TNA as a member of security, has made his goal to be the next NWA World Champion.  Pearce isn't ready to give up his championship and these two are no strangers to each other.  Adam Pearce lost to Phil Shatter in Charlotte earlier this year, the match was for a NWA Worlds Title shot later down the road.  Pearce later admitted to over looking Shatter in route to his World Title Match, having a re-match clause, with Blue Demon.  Both of these men have appeared on Alliance Radio and talked about their mutual respect for each other.  Adam Pearce defeated Blue Demon Jr. and Phil Shatter in a Three Way Elimination match in again in Charlotte.  Ever since Shatter was announced as the Number 1 contender, Pearce has been trying to distract and injure the National Champ.  Having his manager, Jeff G. Bailey and former tag team partner Kimo attack Shatter.  The Champion finally will have to face the challenger August 1st in Ohio.  Make sure you are there.

Scott Steiner has been wrestling in Puerto Rico for the World Wrestling Council.  Steiner has even added World Wrestling Council Heavyweight Champion to his repertory.  Steiner accepted a blank contract for his return to the NWA, expecting to face a former NWA World Champion.  But nobody could have expected that come August 1st, Steiner would be facing  TNA Wrestling's Abyss.  Abyss recently went berserk during his last TNA Match destroy both Jeff Hardy and Ken Anderson after the match.  These two men are no strangers to each other from their time spent in TNA.

TNA's Sharkboy will also be in attendance taking on former WWE Mike Posey.  Since leaving the WWE Posey has been wrestling in Tennesee and holds the NWA Alabama Jr. Heavyweight Championship.  NWA DAWG Pound Champion, Chance Prophet will be defending his championship against none other than NWA Mid-American Television Champion "No Mercy" Tommy Mercer.

Also on the card

Kadeen Assad vs. "Hot Commodity" Matt Mason

Chrisjen Hayme and Ali vs. Jamin Olivecia and Corey Hollis
