Talk NWA: Shaun Tempers March 17th 1:30PM Eastern

June 25th 2011, the North American Championship Vacancy was filled when Shaun Tempers defeated Ace Rockwell in the middle of a NWA Anarchy ring.  Since becoming Champion, Tempers was afforded the opportunity to take part in the Four Way Match in Ohio to claim a new NWA Worlds Champion and rack up over 20 Championship defenses from Cornelia to Nashville with stops all over the South East, with each defense seeing "The Temptation" walk away still your North American Champion.  Tempers has victories over Arrick Andrews, Mikal Judas, Ace Rockwell , and Se7en, just to name a few. With a match signed for NWA Mountain State in the works as an opportunity to win the NWA Anarchy Heavyweight Championship looming we are proud to have Shaun Tempers on TalkNWA.  We'll with Tempers working in the South East, his up coming schedule, what he thinks of his contemporaries Chance Prophet and Adam Pearce, and what is next on his mind.

Plus we'll play our interview with 16 year old phenom Ryan Kidd from SoCal Pro Wrestling.

What else should we talk about? Call in and you can decide.

NWA Worlds Champion: Continues the "One Last Ride" Tour

The NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion has defended the "Legendary 10lbs of Gold" has been on the line, nine times since July 31st.  And the man who has walked away with the belt after each match is the four time Worlds Champion "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce.  With a combination of working in West Virgina for NWA Mountain State last weekend, working the Wrestling Revolution Project this week, and two more victories on the road in Texas this past weekend it is clear, Pearce has left no stone unturned on the "One Last Ride" Tour. After piledriving Jaykus Plisken Friday Night for NWA Houston and their "See No Evil, Speak No Evil" event, Pearce was welcomed into Brownsville place in what would seem like a no win situation.

The Maestro defeats the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion!

NWA Mountain State hosted the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion with the Showdown II event this past weekend.  Both men lamenting respect and admiration prior to the Worlds Heavyweight Championship bout.  However, that wouldn't last long.  "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce made sure he walked out of Princeton, West Virginia.

"Awesome show last night. Thank you for your support" tweeted The Stro.  He also tweeted to his fans "Epic weekend I will never forget. God bless you and thank you all."

NWA Mountain State Presents: Showdown II

"Underestimated" "Epic" "to the Limit"  The phrases that have been dolled out over the course of the past two months since the formal announcement was made that NWA Mountain State would be hosting Showdown II, the return match between Stro and "Scrap Iron" for the Legendary 10lbs of Gold.  In their previous encounter the Maestro of wrestling walked the line with Adam Pearce, nearly eight months ago coming short of wrestling away the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.

Stro begged the NWA Board of Directors for a re-match, but before any match was scheduled, Pearce was defeated by "Boom Boom" Colt Cabana at a television taping in Hollywood California.
