Make your plans to join us for The Sixth Episode of Talk NWA, July 9th 1:30PM Eastern, 10:30AM Pacific.
Alliance-Wrestling.com is proud to announce the 6th Episode of Talk NWA. Talk NWA is a 30 minute program that promises to give a voice to the fans of the National Wrestling Alliance, along with providing the latest news and information from across the NWA.
Last week we had from NWA Mountain State “the Maestro of Wrestling”, The Stro join us. We spoke about the Mountain State’s influx of talent, the television program, and what is next for the MSW. We also spoke about the crowning of the new NWA North American Championship. Congrats to Shaun Tempers for winning the title. We all shared our opinions of NWA Hollywood extending an invitation to Locked Out, NFL Players for an opportunity to work for the NWA.
NWA Executive Director Bob Trobich joined the show and discussed how strong he thought the NWA is right now. Mentioned how the match with Sheik and Rai was decided by the Mr. Nakamura and Ohtani in sealing the ZERO1 World’s Title Legacy. We spoke about the contingency plan for the NWA Southern Heavyweight Championship if Rockwell was successful in his quest for the North American Title Tournament. We also talked about the genesis of a NWA Network, which is in the works that will feature all of the NWA Programming in one all inclusive area. We also talk about what would have happened if the Sheik wasn’t successful in Japan or if Adam Pearce wasn’t cleared to wrestle.
What will be the topic this Saturday? You decided. Saturday July 9th. 1:30PM Eastern, 10:30AM Pacific.
In association with www.alliance-wrestling.com, Talk NWA is a thirty minute live podcast for the fans of the NWA to discuss in real time, their views and opinion on the National Wrestling Alliance. All are welcome to call in and participate in this episode.

And your new NWA North American Champion is crowned: Shaun Tempers
A NWA North American Champion was crowned Saturday Night. In the culmination of weeks of wrestling all across the south east, The Temptation stood alone as the Tournament Champion. Shaun Tempers was awarded the NWA North American Championship (not the Bill Behrens cup, which was erroneously reported earlier.) All lot of great talent competed in the series of matches that culminated at the NWA Studios in Corneila Georgia. Long time rivals the Ace Rockwell (who is the reigning NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion) put it all on the line
The North American Championship became vacant with now reigning NWA Worlds Champion the Sheik defeated "Boom Boom" Colt Cabana. The title was stripped, creating a tournament that would see eight competitors battle tooth and nail to reach the upper echelon of NWA Talent.
The match will more than likely be shown in its entirety on NWA Anarchy's Television show which can be seen on a myriad of channels in the South East, but also on-line at NWAAnarchy.net

Updates on the NWA North American Tournament
Apparently the Bill Behren's Cup aka the NWA North American Championship tournament has been progressing nicely. Ace Rockwell finally has an opponent to face in Kyle Matthews. Shaun Tempers bested Caprice Coleman and Corey Hollis upset J-Rod. It looks like before the end of the month we'll have a finals match scheduled. Perhaps some of the answered challenges of Lance Hoyt or Ja'coby Boykins will be in line for a shot at the title down the road.

Updates on the NWA North American Tournament
The North American Title Tournament kicked off last weekend when NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion Ace Rockwell defeated Chrisjen Hayme at the confines NWA Main Event. This so far as been the only bit of news regarding the tournament that has been released as of late. That and that Kyle Matthews will be taking on Mike Posey for NWA Pro South.
There is a lot of unanswered questions about this tournament. The bracket to the left is simply our best guess as to what direction the Tournament is following. Obviously the Tournament can be much larger, but so far these are the matches that have been announced.
The first edition of Talk NWA on Blog Talk Radio focused on whom the fans of the NWA would select for the tournament. Guys like Ja'coby Boykins and NWA Texas Champion Lance Hoyt have lobbied via Twitter to be included in the tournament. Even promoter Gabe Ramirez expressed interest in having wrestlers from Revolution Pro Wrestling. However, the tournament planners are keeping all information regarding the tournament close to the chest and the NWA Faithful have to just guess what happens next in the tournament for to crown a new North American Championship.

After the Sheiks victory over Colt Cabana for the NWA Worlds Championship the Board of Directors officially vacated the North American Championship and announced that a tournament would be taking places in the coming weeks to crown a new champion. The first episode of NWA TALK focused on whom the fans would like to see involved in the tournament. Wrestlers have taken to twitter to ask for their shot, Lance Hoyt, Ja'Coby Boykins, and James Ross all have asked for their shot, but shortly before the show was set to air Bill Behren's made the announcement of the first initial matches.

National Wrestling Alliance Returns To Chattanooga
While the NWA is built on a foundation of wrestling history, the event on Nov. 26 is looking towards the future. This card will featuring some of the up and coming wrestlers on the circuit today. Larry Goodman's thoughts on NWA Main Event Television
From Larry Goodman and Georgia Wrestling History
This was the fourth episode of NWA ME to air since the arrival of Bill Behrens as Executive Producer. Things got better right away and have improved each week. It’s been a long time coming. After Jeff Daniels departed as booker this summer, the first few “New Era” episodes had some life in them. Largely written by Jason James and prominently featuring Shawn Shultz, they were uneven as hell but made for compelling viewing at times. To say NWA ME TV has been floundering since then would be putting it mildly. In between the occasional flashes of decency (pieces of the Will Owens and White Tiger stuff), there were long stretches of horribleness. Some if it was comically bad. Some bordered on being unwatchable. The show was basically on life support as an internet-only product when Mike Porter brought Behrens on board. It’s still internet only, but the booking, the formatting of the television and most importantly, the talent roster, are all greatly improved. The production values not so much. At least they got the audio dialed in this week. I don’t mind the single camera most of the time, because it stays active. This was the third episode to air with Behrens at the helm, and it was the best one so far. The first two episodes were solid by the number stuff. The wrestling was much better. The thing that distinguished the current episode was the zany, unpredictable quality that has in times past, made NWA ME so much fun to watch AND the wrestling was pretty good, too. Hayme and Rockwell opened the show with a very strong match, playing off the angle that closed the previous episode. I liked cutting to the clip from last week explaining why Rockwell was so badly wanting to kick Hayme’s ass. The Mega Rumble, of course, is a Behrens specialty. Se7en is green for sure, but he’s a monster by NWA ME standards and was booked accordingly. You could see the thing with Hyatt coming a mile away, but that’s fine. He's an appealing buffoon. I liked it for the zaniness factor. The centerpiece of this show was the interview with Rudy Charles. I thought the “aliens” vignette with Posey on last week pretty far out there. Who would expect to hear Art mentioned on a pro wrestling show? This one was completely off the chain. Charles riffing on Bogart as Captain Queeg blew my mind. I thought Aaron Camaro did a nice job here as well. The main event provided solid storyline development. The titles are being made to feel important. Rockwell seems bound and determined to get Posey’s junior title. Owens is none too keen on defending the heavyweight title, and Boyce now has a claim there. Meanwhile, Bishop has set his sights on Boyce’s title. They’ve got some over babyfaces in Rockwell, Boyce, and Tiger. The building blocks are there. It will be interesting to see what Behrens does with them.

NWA Main Event goes to "The Next Level" Jan. 7, 2010

THE NEXT LEVELAnother step into the right direction for the NWA Main Event. Conspicuous by his absence is perennial fan favorite White Tiger. Also missing is Shawn Shultz, but the additions of Ace Rockwell and Orion Bishop is certainly a step in the right direction. Rockwell has been wrestling in Tennessee under different organizational banners, so it is a positive move to see this NWA Anarchy regular step into the Main Event rings. Along with Orion Bishop who used to compete in former NWA Affiliate GCW and recently started to appear for Anarchy. Who could NWA Main Event add to this growing roster to guarantee you'll be watching the new show?
Starting in Jan., 2010 the next level for NWAME! Starting with a new TV. Bill Behrens will take over as executive producer for NWAME-TV. KRISSY VAIN VS MELISSA COATES
Former WWE divas collide! The muscular Coates will surely want to tear the beautiful Krissy Vain apart as I believe Vain makes her debut. Krissy Vain.... Anarchy Heavyweight champion Jeremy Vain? Could there be something there?
YOUTH GONE WILD VS THE WILD BUNCH
New comers Youth Gone Wild try to prove why they belong in Anarchy as they face the fan favorite Wild Bunch.
NWA ANARCHY TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH
TALENT & MONEY VS THE NEW WAVE
These guys have been feuding for quite some time now and they kill each other every time they get in the ring. One of the best feuds in Anarchy history in my opinion.
TODD SEXTON VS EL VETERANO 4
The Anarchy crowd loves to hate Todd, who has waged war on the Young Lions division. EV4 looks to cement his place in the division.
ENTOURAGE VS J-RODD & BJ HANCOCK
Andrew Alexander and Mike Mosley will try to show everyone just what they're capable of as J-Rodd and Hancock attempt to earn a roster spot with Anarchy.
DELAY, BRODY & POSEY VS COREY HOLLIS, ALEJANDRO & CIRRIS
Brody, Delay, and Posey cheated Slim J out of a victory at Hostile Environment... will they do the same to promising new comers Hollis, Alejandro, and Cirris? Will Slim J get some revenge of his own?
NWA ANARCHY HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
BO NEWSOME VS JEREMY VAIN
Newsome is one of Anarchy's hottest new stars and Vain is the current Anarchy champion. Newsome has recently gotten some surprise victories over Todd Sexton. Will he be able to overcome the odds of Vain's experience, cheap tactics, and new found friend of Orion Bishop? Will Shadow Jackson have his revenge on Vain & Bishop?
JAY CLINTON VS TRUITT FIELDS
Fields wasn't able to help Team Anarchy at Hostile Environment and Clinton hasn't ever helped anything. Truitt looks to re-establish himself as an awesome young powerhouse that Anarchy fans can count on to deliver beatings to punks like Clinton.
NWA ANARCHY YOUNG LIONS TITLE MATCH
SKIRRA CORVUS VS MALACHI
Corvus earned the right to this title shot at Hostile Environment and this should be an awesome match. There just isn't anyone like Corvus in wrestling and Malachi is the current Young Lions Champion.
TANK VS ICEBERG
These two monsters have had some of the bloodiest battles in Anarchy history. The Devil's Rejects seek to re-establish themselves after a huge loss in the cage at Hostile Environment.
AARON LEE & ANTOINE JORDAN VS ROWDY FRIENDS
Don Matthews and Jessco Blue look to rough some guys up as Aaron Lee and Antoine Jordan step up to the challenge.
PLUS: SHADOW JACKSON, ACE ROCKWELL, JERRY PALMER, THE HATE JUNKIES, JEFF G BAILEY, SHAUN TEMPERS & MORE
Should be an awesome show... Championship matches, Bitter rivalries, and some of the most talented wrestlers in the world.
