NWA Rampage Pro returns Sunday Jan 22nd

NWA Rampage Professional Wrestling returns to Johnny G's in Warner Robins, GA on Sunday 1-22-12 with a new start time of 3PM for another action filled television taping. Future RPW shows will on be the 2nd & 4th Sundays of each month at least through April at 3PM.

The Main Event announced for the upcoming TV taping on January 22 will team The Usual Suspects (Murder 1 & AJ Steele) & Kyle Matthews taking on the NWA RPW Tag Team Champions, Bobby Moore & Rob Adonis & The NWA RPW Heavyweight Champion, Jeremy Vain. The Cash Vault team is managed by "Manager Of The Year" Charlie Cash. Kyle Matthews has Jeremy Vain and the RPW in his sights and the Usual Suspects are the #1 contenders to the RPW Tag Titles. This should be a heated Main Event.

After successfully running the Jimmy Rave Approved Gauntlet defeating 3 men on January 8 you'd think Frankie Valentine would be through with the Rave Approved Group, but not so much as on January 22 he faces the challenge of "Violent Passion" Patrick Bentley. Mike Posey will be on the road with TNA, but Jimmy Rave Approved, Corey Hollis & Chip Day will be in action.

Rampage Pro Wrestling's Doc Gayton threatens NWA Worlds Champion

December 18th, NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Adam Pearce promises to grow his legend in Warner-Robins Georgia at the expense of the talent of Rampage Pro Wrestling. Just a few weeks ago the contract was sent to RPW that Adam Pearce will return and defend his championship. Doc Gayton replied to Adam's announcement with one of his own, threatening Pearce's 4th Reign as Champion. "There are plenty of people in the [Rampage Locker Room] who can take that belt off of you"

Before the 4 Time NWA Worlds Champion returns to Rampage Pro, War Games returns to Georgia as RPW presents Doctoberfest on October 30th. Besides the showdown between Jimmy Rave Approved meets Kyle Matthews crew, Rampage has a special deal for fans who attend. Regular priced tickets will be available for just $5 who attend the TNA Television Taping in Macon.

Updates on the NWA North American Tournament

Apparently the Bill Behren's Cup aka the NWA North American Championship tournament has been progressing nicely.  Ace Rockwell finally has an opponent to face in Kyle Matthews.  Shaun Tempers bested Caprice Coleman and Corey Hollis upset J-Rod.  It looks like before the end of the month we'll have a finals match scheduled.  Perhaps some of the answered challenges of Lance Hoyt or Ja'coby Boykins will be in line for a shot at the title down the road.

Updates on the NWA North American Tournament

The North American Title Tournament kicked off last weekend when NWA Southern Heavyweight Champion Ace Rockwell defeated Chrisjen Hayme at the confines NWA Main Event.  This so far as been the only bit of news regarding the tournament that has been released as of late.  That and that Kyle Matthews will be taking on Mike Posey for NWA Pro South.

There is a lot of unanswered questions about this tournament.  The bracket to the left is simply our best guess as to what direction the Tournament is following.  Obviously the Tournament can be much larger, but so far these are the matches that have been announced.  

The first edition of Talk NWA on Blog Talk Radio focused on whom the fans of the NWA would select for the tournament.  Guys like Ja'coby Boykins and NWA Texas Champion Lance Hoyt have lobbied via Twitter to be included in the tournament.  Even promoter Gabe Ramirez expressed interest in having wrestlers from Revolution Pro Wrestling.  However, the tournament planners are keeping all information regarding the tournament close to the chest and the NWA Faithful have to just guess what happens next in the tournament for to crown a new North American Championship. 

NWA to crown New North American Champion!

After the Sheiks victory over Colt Cabana for the NWA Worlds Championship the Board of Directors officially vacated the North American Championship and announced that a tournament would be taking places in the coming weeks to crown a new champion. The first episode of NWA TALK focused on whom the fans would like to see involved in the tournament.  Wrestlers have taken to twitter to ask for their shot, Lance Hoyt, Ja'Coby Boykins, and James Ross all have asked for their shot, but shortly before the show was set to air Bill Behren's made the announcement of the first initial matches.

National Wrestling Alliance Returns To Chattanooga

While the NWA is built on a foundation of wrestling history, the event on Nov. 26 is looking towards the future. This card will featuring some of the up and coming wrestlers on the circuit today. The main event features a battle of the biggest and baddest as the 6'8" 328 pounds "Priest Of Punishment" Mikael Judas takes on the 360 pounds juggernaut of man known simply as Tank. Both men were ranked nationally in this year's Pro Wrestling Illustrated Magazine Top 500 wrestlers in the world.

Judas, originally a South Carolina native, has made a name for himself traveling the states and in Puerto Rico, where he captured the IWA World Heavyweight Championship in 2006 and is also a former NWA Georgia State Heavyweight Champion. Tank, who's originally a Chattanooga native, was a high school (Red Bank High) and collegiate (Wartburg) wrestling standout and has headlined pro cards in over 20 U.S. states as well as Mexico and is known as one of the single toughest wrestlers in the sport today.

Another featured bout on the card will see two former NWA World TV Champions collide as "All That" Adam Jacobs takes on "The Temptation" Shaun Tempers. Jacobs has been competing on NWA cards since the year 2000 where he has also held the Georgia and Alabama state tag team titles and the Georgia state heavyweight title, and has also appeared in the Ring Of Honor promotion out of Philadelphia, TNA Wrestling, briefly on WCW, and was a mainstay in the cult favorite NWA Wildside promotion where he actually scored a pinfall victory over prominent wrestling star A.J. Styles. Tempers is a thoroughbred athlete, the son of former Chattanooga Lookout great and now Philadelphia Phillies assistant coach Sal Rende. He has also competed on cards across the country and was also ranked in this years PWI Magazine Top 500 Wrestlers.

In addition to these two bouts, NWA Championship Wrestling will be presenting a veritable who's who of the nation's up and coming wrestling stars. People like "The Seven Figure Deal" Ace Rockwell, "The Perfect 10" Chrisjen Hayme, Andrew Alexander, Corey Hollis, The Hate Junkies and more.

The event will also include the announcement of the "The Scenic City Hall Of Fame." The first inductees will be the most feared tag team in Chattanooga wrestling history - "The No Pain Train," Gypsy Joe and the late, great Tojo Yamamoto. Gypsy Joe will be in attendance to accept the award, sign autograph and thank all the fans for their decades of support.

There will be more events in Soddy Daisy on Dec. 10, March 18 and April 1 with more dates currently in negotiations.

Starting in Jan., 2010 the next level for NWAME! Starting with a new TV. Bill Behrens will take over as executive producer for NWAME-TV. Old favorites will be returning as well as new wrestling superstars. A whole new and exciting crew for NWAME. Promoter Mike Porter has promised more shows through out Middle Tennessee, Western Kentucky and Western Tennessee with all the new talent appearing for NWAME-TV. All of our loyal fans along with the new one stay with us for an all new NWA Main Event!

On Jan. 7, 2010 "The Next Level" of NWA Main Event Television will begin with Mr.Bill Behrens of Atlanta, Ga. as the Executive Producer.

Already signed for the first TV taping under the leadership of Mr. Behrens will be Will Owens, Mike Posey, Corey Hollis, Matt Boyce, Ace Rockwell, Andrew Alexander and Orion Bishop. More names will be added to the list after the Christmas Holiday.

Another step into the right direction for the NWA Main Event.  Conspicuous by his absence is perennial fan favorite White Tiger.  Also missing is Shawn Shultz, but the additions of Ace Rockwell and Orion Bishop is certainly a step in the right direction.  Rockwell has been wrestling in Tennessee under different organizational banners, so it is a positive move to see this NWA Anarchy regular step into  the Main Event rings.  Along with Orion Bishop who used to compete in former NWA Affiliate GCW and recently started to appear for Anarchy.  Who could NWA Main Event add to this growing roster to guarantee you'll be watching the new show?
