TMDK International World Wide!

Shane Haste
Those in the know, were more than a little excited about the pending debut of TMDK International. With the past accomplishments of Shane Haste and Mikey Nichols in their previous runs in Southern California, the expectations were set very high for the duo.  However Haste and Nichols delivered on every expectation when they entered the Glendale Studios in front the NWA Hollywood crowd.  Unfortunately the initial reaction TMDK got was a little less than stellar.  But that changed the moment they entered the ring.  With lightning quick maneuvers and very hard hitting action, Nichols and Haste quickly galvanized the fan base in  Hollywood.

Two obstacles placed in front of them their match up with  H.E.D.and the duo of Josh Lazay and Leo Blaze and the matches ended with the same result.  A blur of motion, bodies flying everywhere, and TMDK victorious.  Much like I had anticipated TMDK was most impressive, with two victories in the television taping over I think they did all they can to earn a Heritage Tag Team Title shot when they return.

New Talent to debut for NWA Pro Australia, but not new to the NWA.

At NWA Pro Wrestling Australia a new #1 contender to the NWA Australian National Championship, currently around the waste of Hartley Jackson, will be named through an 8 Man Tournament. Wrestlers from across Australia will get an opportunity to be named the top contender to the gold. But two of the names will be very familiar to NWA Wrestling fans in the United States, New Jersey to be more precise.

Competing in New Jersey working with Ring of Honor, Chikara, and Combat Zone Wrestling, Australian Natives, Ryan Eagles and Jack Bonza were perfecting their craft in the United States. Both had been actively competing in Australia's PWA, but where looking for additional opportunities in the States. NWA DAWG Representative Jaden said "I think its great that these guys came over here looking to expand their horizons." Jaden would continue to say "Ryan Eagles and Jack Bonza were both very talented." They both competed on the same team during an 8 man tag team match for NWA Vintage, prior to its closing and were both expected to participate in an upcoming NWA DAWG show.

While in New Jersey Ryan Eagles had impressed many in the NWA New Jersey area. Eagles was originally scheduled to take on Damien Wayne on May 21st for the NWA DAWG Championship but wasn't cleared to wrestle and was replaced.

Jack Bonza is a name that should be with NWA Fans in Arizona and California. Bonza was a regular tag team partner with Shane Haste in Arizona and even appeared on the NWA Showcase back in 2008.

Both men have the opportunity of a LIFE TIME June 25th at Ground Zero.

NWA Worlds Champion in Ring of Honor?

At "Take No Prisoners" the NWA Worlds Title will be seen again by a live Ring Of Honor audience.

"Once more the ROH and NWA World Champions will share the ring, but this time in an international tag team contest. Just signed for “Take No Prisoners” on April 4th is the team of ROH World Champion Nigel McGuinness and frequent partner, “The Most Money Making Man” Claudio Castagnoli versus “Shooter” Brent Albright and NWA World Champion Blue Demon, Jr. Albright has plenty of history with McGuinness and Castagnoli, as it could be argued that Castagnoli cost Brent the ROH Title. Blue Demon, Jr. wanted to face the best that ROH had to offer; and it doesn’t get any better than the ROH World Champion."

As of the last tapings of the NWA Showcase, a partnership was seemingly developed between Blue Demon Jr. and Brent Albright. There mutual despise of Adam Pearce has brougth them closer together in Ring of Honor. And as Albright works for both the NWA and ROH, he has become the ambassador of good will to the Blue Demon Jr.

NWA Worlds Champion in Ring of Honor

It is being widely reported that Blue Demon Jr., reigning Worlds Champion, is scheduled to make his Ring of Honor debut. The NWA and ROH have worked together on numerous causes in the past, most specifically sharing the talents of Brent Albright, Bryan Danielson, and Adam Pearce. The NWA Worlds Title appeared on a Ring of Honor PPV, when Pearce hit Albright with a briefcase containing the championship belt. It was also the first time a PPV audience had seen the Legendary 10lbs. of Gold since the NWA ended his relationship with Total Non-Stop Action.

"ROH has confirmed the participation of the current NWA World Heavyweight Champion Blue Demon Jr. on their upcoming PPV Take no Prisioners 2009 (to take place during the Wrestlemania XXV weekend). The promotion is also interested in Incognito, Lince Dorado and Pantera (Winners of the Chikara Pro King of Trios 2008)."

And your NEW Worlds Heavyweight Champion!!!

On Saturday September 20th at the Ring of Honor Pay Per View, "Glory By Honor" Adam Pearce defeated Brent Albright to regain the legendary 10lbs. of gold. Adam locked Brent in the Crowbar and forced the submission. This marks the second time the title has changed hands in Ring of Honor. This also marks the second time that Adam Pearce has worn the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
:::I stand corrected:::
Alliance reader WhatInTheH informed that I mistakenly posted that the NWA Worlds Title match took place on the Ring of Honor pay per view, "Glory By Honor." The Pay Per View was taped the night before.
