NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion: Has gold, will travel.
NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion Craig Classic has been on a tear defending the championship world wide. Classic has defended against some of the best names in the world, defeating Tony Kozina in Illinois, Erik Scorpion in Puerto Rico, and Munenori Sawain Tokyo.
Classic has defended the title more in the few months he's held the title than the previous champion had in a few years. But Classic isn't resting on his laurels. With confirmed dates in May for NWA DAWG, NWA Vintage, and World-1, Classic is also actively seeking future dates in Southern California, returns to Japan and Puerto Rico and taking the title to Chile. Classic also has a huge match up against Lince Dorado for NWA Florida's Subtle Hustle on April 23rd.
The young champion has been steadfast in proving that he is the best Junior Heavyweight wrestler in the World and plans to prove it against any wrestler any where. NWA National Championship Match Postponed.
At an event that would have seen the former champion, get a shot at the belt he never lost or the reigning champion a little more credibility in his 2 plus year reign, NWA Vintage regretfully would like to announce the postponement of its first event of the year. Problems with the venue couldn't be sorted out in time for the show and no replacement venue could be found in such a short amount of time.

Fred Rubenstein joins Alliance Radio Tuesday, Jan. 11th 2011 8PM EST, 5PM PST
Fredric Rubenstein maybe more well known as the EVIL Mr. Fred while working with Zero One in the earlier parts of this decade than as a member of the NWA Board of Directors. However, Rubenstein has been a fixture in the National Wrestling Alliance for decades. As a member of the NWA, Rubensein has officiated over numerous Worlds Championship Matches, a commentator, interviewer, Vice President, and was credited by NWA Executive Director Robert Trobich in landing the JAKKS Pacific deal. We'll be asking Rubenstein about his time in officiating championship matches in Zero One, some of the controversy with regards to New Jersey in the National Wrestling Alliance, some of his favorite matches he officiated and his thoughts on the current direction of the NWA. Plus, we'll be taking your calls.

NWA Vintage Pro Wrestling January 15th 2011
Watch as the National Championship is on the line when former Champion Chance Prophet takes on reigning Champion Phil Shatter. With more than respect on the line will Chance finally reclaim some of his lost glory or will "The Universal Soldier" claim another victory on a path that is littered with victims across the United States. Shatter won the title nearly two years to the date of this upcoming defense by defeating Champion Crusher Hansen and Chris LeRusso in McKeepsport Pennsylvania. Since then 23 Matches across six states, Shatter has taken no prisoners. Although not as many stagger defenses or for as long as a time, but Chance Prophet too has taken his NWA DAWG Championship from port to port in his claim for a piece of the lime light including four states with more defenses planned in 2011 in Kentucky and Tennessee. Will these be Prophets time to shine or will Shatter continue his winning ways. Find out January 15th. West Deptford, New Jersey

NWA Vintage to host NWA National Championship Match: Shatter vs. Prophet
NWA Vintage's Atticus broke the news December 21st, on Alliance Radio. The NWA National Championship will be defended in the Garden State on January 15th at the Derby Den, 1120 Crown Point Road, West Deptford New Jersey. Not only will this be the first show of the year for NWA Vintage Pro, but this will be the first time the NWA National Championship has been defended in New Jersey in nearly a decade.
The announcement of the main event is maybe as explosive as the opponents on opposite sides of the rings. NWA DAWG Champion Chance Prophet has had a remarkable resurgence in the National Wrestling Alliance in 2010. Chance had become somewhat recluse after the injury that saw the National Championship taken away from him. The Poster boy for the NWA, long gone. Chance's phone stopped ringing and some thought his wrestling days were over. In 2010, the newly nicknamed Dark Child took his NWA DAWG Title all over the East Coast. Chance Prophet had made an impact with his eyes still set on the NWA World Championship.
NWA National Champion Phil Shatter too has had a very prosperous 2010. Phil Shatter had successful defenses of his National Championship against the likes of Adam Pearce, Michael Faith, Ace Rockwell, Shadow Jackson, Boogie Woogie Gary Valiant, and Jayson Plisken all over, with stops in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, and even nearly captures the NWA North American Championship from the Sheik in Florida, and just inches away from winning the World Championship on more than one occasion, once in Charlotte and once in Columbus.
When these two collide for the National Title, the winner may as well be punching his ticket for a NWA World Championship Match. But this show won't just feature a Super Main Event. Already announced for January 15th ROH and Pro Wrestling Noah Superstar Alex Payne takes on the very talented Drew Gulak
All the way from the Land of the Rising Sun Hidetka Suzuki will go one on one with his heated rival Frankie Arion in what is sure to be a classic. The Monster Squad of John Dahmer & Anthony Graves look to continue their reign of terror in the NWA as they take on the new tag team of wrestling veteran Jojo & his new tag team partner the promising rookie the Latin Dragon. A Person who is no stranger to NWA action Johnny Calzone looks to continue his success as he takes on a new comer to NWA Vintage Nathen Avery
NWA Vintage is always looking to bring you the very best from around the globe & this next match will be no exception as 2 wrestlers from the New England area will battle.. You will see Matt Greely take on Elvia Markopoulos in what should be an awesome encounter. Matt Tremont looks to put his life on the line as he battles the very dangerous WHACKS in a match not for those who are weak of heart. If that was not all NWA Vintage's Ultra Violent Icon Nick Gage has an Open Challenge for the most bad ass wrestler in the NWA to see what he has against the man who many are too scared to even get in the ring with
All tickets are only $13 & Children under 5 get in free.. Tickets are going fast & make great last second gifts for the Holidays!
You can order tickets by emailing atticus1367@comcast.net or you can pick them up at the building starting December 27th
Come bring your entire family to what will be an amazing night of pro wrestling action!!

NWA Vintage's Atticus Reign joins Alliance Radio with Kirby Mack Dec. 21st 8PM EST
You demanded it. The last time Kirby Mack joined the Alliance, it was one of the top rated podcast in Alliance History. And we spent as much time talking baseball as we did talking wrestling. Well this time Kirby is back, but this time around he will be in a co-host position. Were still talking about your NEW ADDICTION, but Kirby and Jay will welcome the newest member of the New Jersey branch of the NWA, Atticus Reighns of NWA Vintage.
Over the years the State of New Jersey has been home to many famous pro-wrestling matches. And over the years there have been several NWA promotions representing the Garden State and 2010 would see three, active promotions, NWA Force One, NWA Dawg Pound, and NWA Vintage. Atticus Reighns would present his first NWA sanctioned event in September of 2010 featuring some of the best talents from New Jersey including talents from Force One and DAWG. In 2011 Atticus has plans to put on more shows and honor the history and tradition of the NWA. Will be talking to Atticus about the creation of NWA Vintage, and what's next for the promotion. If you have questions for Atticus or Kirby you can call in and talk wrestling.

NWA Vintage Pro Results
NWA VINTAGE PRO RESULTS
Credit: The Bloodhound
Millennium Skate World, Camden, NJ Sunday September 12
NWA Vintage Pro made its debut this past Sunday before a small but loud group of fans in Camden, NJ. Doing battle against the Eagles and an already packed wrestling weekend, NWA Vintage Pro pulled out a great opening show for those in attendance.
The opening match saw Niles Young against Johnny Gargano. Young offered his hand to Gargano in a supposed show of Italian Paisano friendship but of course it was merely a ruse to gain the advantage. The contest saw a lot of back and forth between the two but in the end, Gargano went down to the evil shenanigans of Young.
Next up saw the true comedy match highlight of the year as Greg Excellent took on Johnny Calzone, the wild and crazy Pizza Guy. If you are into just all out hilarious shtick in your wrestling, this match is worth the price of a DVD alone. Those who missed this missed probably the best laughs they would have had in decades. Highlights included both men crashing to the canvas and the force of that crash knocking referee Jimmy Clydesdale straight up through the ropes and out of the ring. To “make up” for their unathletic show in the ring, both men chose to show off their athletic prowess by having a footrace to the concession stand. The sight of Calzone trying desperately to clear the skating rinks waist high wall and then getting stuck there had the crowd roaring with laughter. After more hilarious hijinks ensued, Excellent took it home with the win.
The next match was a four way featuring Justin Roberts, Problem Child, Tommy Force and NWA Dawg Pound Champion Chance Prophet. Prophet brought a skull to the ring with him that he claimed was his uncle. He spoke to his uncle for advice before the match until one of the other three decided to insult his uncle. This started a great four way mix-up that occasionally spilled out to the floor with some hard hitting action from all involved. After taking a terrific beating on the floor, Prophet made his way back and scored the pin to win the match.
Out next was Gregory Irons. For those who haven’t seen Irons work, he is legit handicapped and a very personable young man. As he made his way around the ring, the crowd was definitely with him. When his opponent was announced as Whacks, the crowd expected a tough but fair match. But something seems to have happened to Whacks since we last saw him work in this area. The first words out of his mouth were an insult to the handicapped as well as commenting about Clydesdale’s height…or lack there of. From that point, things just turned into a savage beat down on Irons. After getting the pinfall after a brutal tackle, Whacks came over to me, took my cane and began to choke Irons with it ranting about Irons being handicapped.
Next up was a tag team contest between The Spanish Armada and the Runaways (Joe Gacy and Ryan Slater). After an array of insults fired across the Armada’s bow, Gacy and Slater took it to them and sunk their fleet. Slater was literally covered in rope burns from being thrown with such force into the ropes in this tag war
And then it was time for the Man. Nick Gage. Facing Facade. We all knew where this was going.. Out of the ring. And Gage failed to disappoint. Over the guardrails and out into the crowd. Chair shots and crushing back blows into the skating rink’s cement retaining wall. And when all was said and done, chalk up another victim…I mean victory to Nick Gage.
The main event saw two men capable of brawling and wrestling in Sami Callihan and Sabian. The craziness of Callihan was apparent immediately as he carried the oversize reindeer head of the skating rinks mascot to the ring. Issuing his challenge to Sabian while wearing the head was just part of the insanity of this match which later saw a Tweety Bird Head brought to the ring. This lead to some posing with Clydesdale wearing the head follow by a face-off between both wrestlers wearing the heads. After an array of hard hitting and fast action, the BLK Jeez Sabian came out on top. Never one to turn down the chance, Sabian made his way over to ringside to admire a few of the ladies’ physical attributes as Callihan stalked to the back.
A return is planned for late October so keep your eyes out for further information on this new hot promotion.
