NWA Pro/Mach-1 Wrestling's Fiday Fight Night October 1st.

NWA Pro/Mach-1 Wrestling presents “Friday Fight Night” on Friday, October 1st at 8:05pm in Anaheim, CA!

M1W Non-Title Tag Team Match
RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma) vs. Rocky Romero & TJ Perkins
- With the tag team title scene heating up, Rocky Romero & TJ Perkins are looking to make a big splash by taking out the tag team champions in this non-title match and earn themselves a title shot against the Monsters or the number 1 contenders Scorpio Sky & Joey Ryan if they come out on top of their eventual battle for the belts.

James Morgan vs. Cedric The Hitman
- Since returning to his fan favorite status, James Morgan has tried to distance himself from his past and will battle his former hired assassin this week to show just how much of a changed man he is.

"Pretty" Peter Avalon vs. Mikey Callahan
- One week with the Power Balance Band, Peter Avalon is 1-0 and has an even bigger challenge this week and maybe the biggest of his career in Mikey Callahan.

Joey Ryan vs. Nick Madrid
- Joey Ryan has been injured and on the sidelines for a month now and is coming back from his injury five days ahead of schedule to take on one of his top students at M1W's Wrestling 101 in what will be a test to both his injured shoulder and his training to see if his own student can take the teacher.

Natural Selection (Brian Cage & Shaun Ricker) vs. Mike Rayne & Ridiculouso
- Natural Selection is actively trying to get back into the tag team title hunt and is looking to make a statement against any team that steps in their way.

Andrew Hellman vs. Ruben Iglesias
- Last week, in his first match since Avalon stole the Power Balance Band from him, Iglesias suffered a loss. Determined to show that his success isn't based on the Power Balance Band, Iglesias challenged the man who Avalon defeated last week to prove his point.

Brandon Parker vs. Kyle Webb
- Kyle Webb is 1-0 since David Troy left him on his own, but now has a tough task in taking on Brandon Parker.

NWA Pro/Mach-1 Wrestling’s weekly “Friday Fight Night” comes to you live every Friday from the American Sports Center at 1500 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92805. Bell time 8:05PM, doors open at 7:30. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students w/ ID and children 12 and under.

Bobby Quance has still got it or ... NWA Pro/Mach-1 Results 09/10/10

This man will be leaving on a plane. To fly to Afghanistan, were he will be proudly serving his country... And when you come back, if you decide you still want to wrestle, you will always have a home at Mach-1 Wrestling.

These words or words very close to these are what Mach-1 Promoter Jon Ian said to Bobby Quance, with all of the faces in the ring applauding the losing efforts of "The Shooting Star". This was a one time appearance by Bobby as Jon explained, as Bobby would soon be heading to live combat in Afghanistan. Regardless of your thoughts on war or politics, this Pat Tillman like gesture is of the most noble. I was happy to see Bobby Quance match at Mach-1 and I hope it wasn't his last.

The night started off with Josh Worthy and Jarek Matthews. Matthews' following seems to be growing. The match had a few hiccups, but I believe both guys really put out a good effort. Matthews win came off as an upset, which surprised me. I'm a lot more familiar with Matthews then I was Worthy.

The next match up was the newly reformed "Red Tornado" James Morgan taking on Kyle Webb with manager David Troy. Morgan is one of those vets who I think never gets the credit he deserves. He tells a pretty good story in the match, his moves are pretty crisp, and the crowd really seemed to be, behind the former Mach-1 Champion. Kyle Webb has improved a lot since I last saw him in a one on one match. And the story going into the match seems that Webb is being controlled by his manager. And even in victory, Morgan offered a hand shake that Troy did not want Webb accepting. And although Webb appeared to want to shake hands, Troy had the last word.

Next up was one half of the NWA Pro/Mach-1 Heritage Tag Team Champions, Johnny Yuma. And Yuma was flying solo against frequent nemesis "Pretty" Peter Avalon. The chemistry between Yuma and Avalon is pretty interesting. They seem to gel so well in the ring against each other that I'd wonder if they weren't on opposite sides of the ring, what they would look like as a tag team. The match really was back and forth and Avalon stepped up his game. Of course Avalon took whatever short cut he could find. The match ended when a distracted Chris Massie trying to get Yuma out of the corner afforded Avalon the opportunity to attack Yuma's most sensitive of areas, not unlike Ric Flair. And although Avalon stole one, you have to think these two will faces off again real soon.

Next the combination of Nick Madrid and Mikey Callahan took on Natural Selection. And regardless of some of the more snarky comments coming from the peanut gallery, I think Rickers has gotten pretty good on the microphone. After welcoming back his partner Cage, and lambasting the crowd, Natural Selection took to the ring. Really taking it to Madrid, Natural Selection really dominated the first half of the match. When Madrid did make the hot tag, Callahan was red hot. Like a One Man Wrecking Crew, Callahan was destroying Selection. It wouldn't be long before Selection would regain control and finishing the match. Before the finish, Callahan received the same treatment as Johnny Yuma in that sensitive area. And as a wrestling fan, I just don't condone that.

Willie Mack returned the American Sports Center angry. And the thing about Mack is that he has been good for some time. I've enjoyed his work for a while now. But it seems like Mack's feud with Watts has really taken him to the next level. Is this the evolution of Willie Mack? Mack wasted no time in thoroughly extinguishing Leo Blaze. Mack put the Blaze out with a thunderous powerbomb. How long before we hear the chants that "Mack is gonna kill you!"

The Main Event was the reason I got out to the show. Bobby Quance has always been one of my favorites when I first saw him in the early days of PWG. And TJ Perkins spent a lot of time working with Quance from back in their days at the Inoki Dojo. Perkins was the perfect opponent. Quance is a little bigger, little older, and neck was a little more sunburn then I'm used to seeing. But its had to believe that this was his first match back. He was very fluid in the ring. His signature moves still in tact. Complete with the Shooting Star to his feet, it seemed as if Bobby never left. The crowds in attendance seemed to be split, half cheering for TJ and the other half cheering for Bobby. And you can tell the match was really special when guys like Tommy Williams, Joey Ryan (in sling), Lil Cholo, and Kid Caramba all made there way to this event. The Shooting Star certainly gave it his all against TJ Perkins, but TJ won the match with a victory roll. You would have thought this match up would have headlined an EVOLVE or a Dragon Gate USA DVD. But the 100 or so fortunate fans at the American Sports Center were rewarded with this match. And not even the sounds of a fire alarm would get the fans to leave their seats during this match.

After the finish, the faces of Mach-1 emptied the locker room and filled the ring, congratulating Bobby with hand shakes and hugs. Jon Ian gave a very touching speech about Bobby's efforts to join the military when he was at the top of his game. Quance was then hoisted on the shoulders of Mack and Morgan as the crowd chanted "Thank You Bobby" and "USA."

NWA Pro/M1W presents: Centre City Slam

NWA Pro/Mach-1 Wrestling present the Centre City Slam at the Downtown YMCA in San Diego CA at 7PM on July 24th.  The event will showcase former WWE Talent.  Scorpio Sky earned the right  to face Shelton Benjamin at the American Sports Center when he defeated Joey Ryan and Johnny Goodtime in a triple threat match.  At the time, Sky had no idea who his mystery opponent would be.  But announced shortly after Scorpio Sky will be taking on Shelton Benjamin formerly of the WWE.  Benjamin a former WWE Tag Team Champion and Intercontinental Champion will certainly one of Sky's toughest opponents to date.

Also recently announce the current NWA Heritage Tag Team Champions, the RockNES Monsters, Johnny Yuma and Johnny Goodtime are scheduled to take on Former WWE Tag Team Champions in Paul London and TNA's Brian Kendrick. In their short time as champions Yuma and Goodtime have fought off the Challenges of Pringle Dyansty members Natural Selection and former NWA World Tag Champions Los Luchas.  But they haven't faced the kind of opposition that the "Intrepid Traveler" Paul London and The Brian Kendrick bring to the table.

Also scheduled Mach-1 Heavyweight Champion, Willie Mack will also be defending against former champion James Morgan.  Morgan has been clawing his way back into a championship match since losing the title, nearly 8 months ago.  And the jealousy Morgan has for Willie Mack's accomplishments only grows as Mack stock has risen in the world of wrestling since defeating Australia's Bobby Marshall for the M1W Championship, appearing for National Touring Wrestling promotions like Juggalo Championship Wrestling and Lucha VaVoom.

Another Main Event caliber match has just been added to this enormous event.  Joey Ryan just came off an epic match with the Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Adam Pearce.  Joey nearly won the championship the last time he was near San Diego, but this  time he is facing a former NWA World Champion of another kind.  Currently the Heartland States Champion, Steve Corino has held championship gold from all over the world.  Corino's return to the NWA was predicated on that he wanted another shot at the Worlds Championship.  Both of these men have been leveraged to achieve another chance at that crown, but come July 24th something has got to give.  If Joey defeats Corino, surely he breaks the top ten of contenders to the NWA Worlds Titles.  And if Corino scores a victory over Ryan, he too surely has a claim for a shot at the Legendary 10lbs. of Gold.

All this and more during the San Diego Comic Con in San Diego.

NWA Pro/Mach-1 Wrestling Presents Friday Fight Night

Main Event
M1W Champion Willie Mack & Scorpio Sky v. James Morgan & "Pretty" Peter Avalon
- Scorpio Sky's shot at Willie Mack's M1W Championship was ruined by a selfish James Morgan who attacked Mack during the bout cost the match to be thrown out. This week Mack & Sky are joining forces to get a little redemption on Morgan who has selected a partner who has been no stranger to Sky or Mack in recent weeks, Peter Avalon!

1/2 of the M1W Tag Team Champions Johnny Goodtime v. Akira Tozawa
- This is a special attraction match featuring one half of the reigning M1W Tag Team Champions The RockNES Monsters in Johnny Goodtime going up against Japan's Akira Tozawa! This will be an a match up between two of the most talented athletes to step foot in a ring that you will not want to miss!

Joey Ryan v. Cedric The Hitman
- This is a first time meeting that has an interesting teacher v. student dynamic to it. Although Cedric The Hitman is currently enrolled in M1W's Wrestling 101 which is headed by Ryan & Goodtime, he is no rookie, so it will be interesting to see if he uses his newly learned material or rely on what brought him to the dance in the first place.

1/2 of the M1W Tag Team Champions Johnny Yuma v. Rising Son
- The other half of the reigning M1W Tag Team Champions The RockNES Monsters, Johnny Yuma will also be in singles action as he takes on Rising Son who is fresh of a successful return to pro wrestling. Nobody is sure what Rising Son's agenda is, but one thing is for sure, he's not here to play nice and knocking off an M1W Champion could be a way for him to jump into title contention.

Anchors Away (David E. Jones & Ryan Stone) v. Leo Blaze & Josh Worthy
- This is a match between two team who do not feel the need to endear themselves to the fans. With the tag team division heating up though, there are no room for friends, even with common outlooks. May the more despicable team win!

Jacob Diez v. Jason Watts
- Watts has been unstoppable since entering M1W but Diez could be the guy to take him out with his vast experience and newly formed style at M1W Wrestling 101.

Brandon Parker v. Nick Madrid
- Nick Madrid has made a big splash in M1W since being added to the roster. Now this M1W Wrestling 101 student is looking to get a win over a man who has begun to make his own splash in M1W in Brandon Parker.

NWA Pro/MIW presents: Friday Fight Night

MAIN EVENT
RockNES Monsters vs. Anchors Away-with newly crowned M1W Champion Willie Mack representing Mach-1 in San Francisco, the tandem of Johnny Goodtime and Johnny Yuma take center stage, hoping to spoil the M1W debuts of SoCal mainstays Anchors Away. Will the sea men be able to match up to the high intensity of the Mach-1 crowd favorites?

Bobby Jo Marshall vs. Andrew Hellman-Marshall has gone on record as saying that there is no competition for him here at Mach-1; a boast that Willie Mack proved otherwise when he took Marshall’s title last week. The Awesome Australian has gone on record as saying that Mack’s win was a fluke, and has vowed that if he loses to the red hot Andrew Hellman, he’ll leave Mach-1 and go back to his homeland. Does Hellman have the fuel, the fire, and the desire to fall this monster from down under? For Hellman’s championship aspirations, he’d better hope so.

James Morgan vs. Todd Chandler-Morgan’s frustration has only grown since losing the M1W Championship—a title he defended against the top talents in SoCal for over a year. Those frustrations grew more when he was pinned by the new M1W Champion Willie Mack last Friday night then attacked him during the 4 way elimination match. Todd Chandler coming in as the underdog, is looking for his second victory, one that would be sure to be an upset, against a highly motivated, perhaps even desperate former champion.

“Pretty” Peter Avalon (w/Mr. Biggz) vs. Mikey Callahan-In a short time, Callahan has begun to be a fan favorite in M1W. Certainly, he has the size and strength advantage over the cunning, crafty Avalon, but he’ll have to overcome two major factors in Avalon’s arsenal—his propensity to win at any cost, and the 300+ pound equalizer Mr. Biggz in his corner.

Sonny Samson vs. David Flex-Since arriving in M1W, Flex has been anything but bashful in showing off his impressive physique. Now he’ll have to rely on tools other than his strength in meeting up with one of the few men in Mach-1 who can out muscle him.

PLUS: In singles action: Kyle Webb v. Dan Moore

NWA Pro/Mach One Wrestling’s weekly “Friday Fight Night” comes to you live from the American Sports Center at 1500 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, CA 92805. Bell time 8:05PM, doors open at 7:30. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for students w/ ID and children 12 and under.

NWA Pro/M1W Presents Friday Fight Night, February 5th!

NWA Pro/M1W presents Friday Fight Night on Friday, February 5th at 8pm in Anaheim, CA!

M1W Championship Match - 3 Way Elimination Match
Bobby Marshall (Champion) vs. “Red Tornado” James Morgan (Challenger) vs. Joey Ryan (Challenger)
- January 22nd: Joey Ryan made his M1W return and battled for the Championship against Bobby Marshall. Marshall retained the title after destroying Ryan’s knee and locked him in an STF and Ryan’s manager C. Edward Vanderpyle threw in the towel when Ryan refused to submit.

January 29th: James Morgan got his long awaited rematch to recapture the M1W Championship against Bobby Marshall. Marshall retained when Morgan was caught with an illegal object that Marshall brought into the ring but Morgan was able to wrestle away.

Both Ryan and Morgan contend that their losses were not legitimate and both want a rematch. With no love lost between Ryan and Morgan either, the M1W office and the NWA brass have come together and decided that the title will be decided on February 5th in a 3 Way Elimination Match.

Since arriving in America in November, Bobby Marshall has been unstoppable in the M1W ring, capturing the M1W Championship on December 18th and continuing to dominate week after week. Marshall has promised to take the M1W Championship back to Australia with him when he returns later this month. With chances to keep the M1W Championship in America running out, one would have to think that this is the best shot M1W, James Morgan and Joey Ryan have to make that happen.

M1W Tag Team Championship Match
The Natural Selection (Brian Cage & Shawn Rickers) (Champions) vs. Andrew Hellman & Sexy Sonny Sampson (Challengers)
- January 29th: Brian Cage & Shawn Rickers won in the finals of the 16 team tournament to become the first ever M1W Tag Team Champions. Although outlasting all 16 teams, Cage & Rickers made a statement saying “We beat 4 teams in the tournament but we could have beaten all 16, so any of the other teams that want to step up, we will take you down as well.” The first team to step up was the unlikely duo of Andrew Hellman & Sexy Sonny Sampson who found success as partners as they reached the quarterfinals in the tournament.

Scorpio Sky vs. Willie Mack
- A match with M1W Championship implications. You would have to think that the winner in this match would be in line for a future M1W title match. Even if they have to travel to Australia to get it!

The Cutler Brothers (Brandon & Dustin) vs. The RockNES Monsters (Johnny Goodtime & Johnny Yuma)
- Both teams found success in the M1W Tag Team Championship Tournament and now both look to get that momentum back into the tag team title picture.

Kyle Webb vs. Ryan Taylor
- Kyle Webb is seemingly getting more and more frustrated as each week goes by. His opponent this week will be the cool, calm and collected NWA Pro/EWF Champion Ryan Taylor. If Kyle Webb wants to be successful here, he needs to find a way to keep his emotions in check.

Dan Moore vs. “Pretty” Peter Avalon
- Since his arrival from Perth Australia and beginning his training under the guide of M1W trainers Joey Ryan & Johnny Goodtime, as well as special guest trainers like Brian Kendrick & Paul London, Dan Moore has seriously upped his game. He has even come close to beating Kendrick himself in an M1W ring. You know who doesn't care about any of that? Peter Avalon!
